What is wrong with Esther?

There are a few different things wrong with Esther. Esther has a mental disability and is put into an asylum. The people there don't understand what is wrong with her and start to believe that something really isn't wrong. The people there don't help her out at all and it starts to make Esther feel upset because she is not getting any better. Everyday Esther feels the same and doesn't know what to do with her life. This is a big contributer to why Esther wants to kill herself. Another reason why she wants to kill herself is because she finds killing herself a noble thing to do. She doesn't think of anything being wrong with the fact of killing yourself. Esther is also very lonely because she doesn't really have anyone in her life to get her through this tough time in her life. Maybe if she had someone to help her get through this rough time in her life things would be a lot easier for her and she wouldn't want to kill herself. These are some of the reasons why Esther wants to kill herself, there could be more behind it, but these are the reasons I believe she wants to.
